Esplanade Concert Hall

Singapore's Esplanade Theatres by the Bay is one of the busiest arts centres in the world with about 3,000 performances presented by Esplanade, their collaboration partners and hirers yearly. Presenting the best in the performing arts, our world-class venues have hosted a diverse range of dance, music and theatre performances, in addition to captivating visual arts exhibitions and more.

The Concert Hall is Esplanade’s crown jewel, which seats 1,630 and another 197 in the gallery. Chosen by Hamburg-based building data company Emporis in 2014 as one of the 15 most beautiful concert halls in the world, the hall boasts superb acoustics. It is one of only five such halls in the world with similar state-of-the-art features, which include reverberation chambers and an acoustic canopy that adapts the hall for different musical performances, producing optimum sound at every concert.

Victoria Concert Hall

First established in 1862, the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Singapore. The heritage building located in the heart of the city’s Civic District contains a 614-seat Theatre and a 673-seat Concert Hall.

In 2010, the national monument underwent a four-year refurbishment to restore its neo-classical façade while getting new state-of-the-art facilities and amenities. The redevelopment also saw the addition of two smaller rooms for music, dance and theatre rehearsals.

Having played a role in the country’s history for over 150 years, the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall continues to be an exciting mid-sized platform, supporting the growth of Singapore’s arts industry.

Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall is managed by Arts House Ltd.

YST Conservatory Concert Hall

Inspirational life-affirming music-making is at the heart of who we are and what we do at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. Centred in one of the world’s most innovative and dynamic countries, we believe we are uniquely placed to offer today’s world a distinct and powerful contemporary Asian voice.

Founded in 2003, the Conservatory has quickly established a reputation as the most exciting international in Asia and one of the most distinctive in the world. With its focus on nurturing excellence and identity, the Conservatory is primarily an undergraduate institution, offering full financial support (fees, accommodation, stipend) for all of its 220 BMus students thanks to the support of the Yong Loo Lin Trust and other donors. Additionally, there are boutique programmes at Masters level, for Continuing Professional Education and for Singapore’s most talented teenagers (the Young Artist Programme). NUS students are also able to access most class activities as elective components of their degree.

To augment its educational offer, YST also hosts an extensive performance calendar with around 200 concerts annually, including a range of international artists and ensembles as well as students and faculty events. There is also a significant community engagement and professional integration programme in Singapore, Asia and across the globe. Additionally, the Conservatory is involved in a range of international networks and partnerships which further enhance the student educational experience as well as ensuring that YST continues to evolve. Students are also supported to find their own pathways into the world, with support available also for exchanges, festivals, projects and competitions.
