Jeein Kim

Jeein Kim has continuously made her reputation as a violinist through many concerts and competitions. Her was a first prize winner at the Northwest Sinfonietta Youth Competition, where she made her debut with the Northwest Sinfonietta. After that, she performed with orchestras including JK chamber orchestra, Prime Philharmony Orchestra, Praha Hradec Kralove Philharmony Orchestra, and Yonsei University Orchestra. Kim has also performed on Seattle Channel's 'Music Encounter' programme, the Kumho Art Hall, Young Mozart Concert, Mast Summer Academy Rising Star Concert, and Shinhan Art Hall. She has also established her reputation by winning first prize in Ewha & Kyunghyang competition, Eumak Chunchu competition, Shinhan Music Award, and other major prizes including Busan music competition, Joongang music competition, and Donga music competition.

Besides the solo career, Kim is also interested in chamber music and has won a silver medal in the Seoul Youth Chamber music competition. She has performed at the Seoul Spring Festival Fringe Concert. In 2016 she won 4th prize in Menuhin International Competition and had a Joint Recital at Yonsei Kumho Art Hall. She is currently studying with Professor Dong-suk Kang and Sang-soon Lee at Yonsei University.
